When I travel overseas, I find that those foreigners who have never been to China can be easily manipulated and brainwashed by prejudiced media about the image of China. Some people who are not very intellectual have nothing bad to say about China except environmental pollution and human rights. In my view, no country is perfect and as the economy is booming, the problems that emerge seem to catch more attention. That's natural. Now, when I live abroad and look back at our country, I find her more charming than ever.
Huai Bao, also known as Dhawa, is from Beijing, China. He has an MA in Literature from Beijing Normal University’s Graduate School, and also had comprehensive Peking Opera training at Jiangsu Provincial Peking Opera Theatrical Company in his early days, apprenticed to renowned Peking Opera performers Zhu Hongfa and Feng Baotong. He performed for many great occasions including the celebration of Hong Kong’s return to China in 1997.
